The consultation was held in May 2020, split in two language editions, with 23 diaspora organisations from across seven countries across western Europe. The group discussed needs, challenges and opportunities for diaspora organisations active in development of their countries of heritage, as well as the impact of Covid-19 on their activities.

The consultation was held on Zoom because of travel restrictions imposed during the global health crisis.
