Voluntary affiliation to the national pension system

A newly approved scheme (2022) allows Algerian diaspora to voluntarily access retirement pension rights and to benefit from social security coverage and health insurance benefits in Algeria. This decision reflects a commitment of the President of the Republic towards the members of the diaspora. This concern has been raised many times by members of the national community abroad.
