Tibuta – Kinaakiia Ainen Kiribati: Tibuta – Identifies Kiribati Women

To address the lack of information on the Kiribati traditional garment “tibuta”, i-Kiribati diaspora in New Zealand conducted research and ran an exhibition to fill the gap and celebrate the tibuta as part of Kiribati’s indigenous culture. The exhibition subsequently led to a publication about the tibuta.
