2025

In 2025, Lesotho advanced discussions on mobilising diaspora resources through a proposed sovereign sustainable diaspora bond. The concept was presented at the Lesotho Diaspora Trade and Investment Forum 2025, and the government, with UNDP support, began preparations for a feasibility study on issuing such an instrument.
