Study of the profile of the Malagasy diaspora in France

Through the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the French Embassy in Madagascar and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), a study was conducted on the profile of the Malagasy diaspora in France, the country of residence with the largest Malagasy diaspora. The study highlighted certain socio-cultural and economic specificities of the Malagasy diaspora, notably the high proportion of individuals with a Master’s or Doctorate degree, as well as the high number of individuals in managerial positions or working in intellectual and liberal professions in France.
