Sédo Sébé Village Water Tower & Grid Distribution

The Sédo Sébé Village Water Supply Rehabilitation and Expansion Project aims to improve access to safe and reliable drinking water for the Sédo Sébé community in Senegal by rehabilitating and expanding the village’s potable water supply system. The initiative modernises water infrastructure through the rehabilitation of an existing water tower, the construction of a new 30 m³ water tower and storage tank, the extension of the water distribution network, the installation of public water points, and the strengthening of water management systems. It provides sustainable access to clean water for more than 7,500 residents while improving water security, sanitation, and community well-being. The project is implemented by the International Association of Sédo Sébé Nationals (AIRSS) in partnership with the Programme for Supporting Solidarity Initiatives for Development (PAISD), with the Association of Water Users (ASUFOR) established and trained to manage and maintain the infrastructure.
