Project To Develop A National Strategy For Mobilising The Diaspora

Launched by the Ministry of External Relations (MINREX), in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Cameroon, this project aims to support the Government of Cameroon in drawing up a strategy document for mobilizing the diaspora in support of Cameroon’s sustainable and inclusive socio-economic development, taking gender issues into account and accompanied by an action plan. It will also enable maping of the skills of members of the diaspora, create a directory of expatriate entrepreneurs and investors and gain a better understanding of the profiles of Cameroonians living abroad.
