NRNA Smart Rest Room Project- Pokhara (Mahendrapool) 

The NRNA Smart Rest Room Project aims to improve access to safe, accessible, and inclusive public sanitation facilities in Nepal. Implemented by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) in partnership with Pokhara Metropolitan City, the project constructs smart public restrooms equipped with disability-friendly features, lactation rooms, sanitary pad vending machines, and environmentally friendly technologies, funded through diaspora contributions. The project continues to strengthen public sanitation, enhance accessibility for residents and tourists, and promote healthier urban environments.
