New digital registration platform for beninese abroad

The Benin government has announced the rollout of a programme registering Beninese nationals residing abroad in the National Register of Natural Persons and the National Agency for Identification of Persons, as well as the issuance of a Personal Identification Number with a biometric card for these individuals. This programme enables easier processing of administrative documents required for citizens living abroad, such as participating in national elections and obtaining police clearance certificates.
