The Economic Coordination Committee of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet approved the incentives for banks and facilitations to the Overseas Pakistanis to boost remittances through official banking channels. The National Remittance Loyalty Program will be launched in September 2020 and will aim to simplify the transfer of remittances for Overseas Pakistanis. The program will offer several incentives to senders (yet to be announced) and will be accessible through mobile apps and cards. /!(It was ultimately launched on 25 November 2021 under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and is currently known as the Sohni Dharti Remittance Program (SDRP))
