National Civil Society Roundtable on Migration (Mesa Nacional de la Sociedad Civil para las Migraciones, MNSCM)

It is Colombia’s main formal citizen participation mechanism on migration issues. Established as a consultative body within the National Migration System, the MNSCM brings together civil society representatives from three groups, with a particular focus on the Colombian diaspora, alongside returnees and regular migrants in Colombia. The initiative reflects more than a decade of advocacy by the Colombian diaspora and migrant communities to secure a voice in the design and implementation of a comprehensive migration policy.
