HesabPay: Blockhain-based app transforming diaspora mobilisation for humanitarian aid

HesabPay is a phone-based application created by Sanzar Kakar, a member of the Afghan diaspora in the United States. The app uses blockhain to enable instant transfers from one digital wallet to another in a secure manner, bypassing conventional banks or platforms run by the Taliban government. HesabPay has helped the Afghan diaspora mobilise financial resources during times of disaster or emergency, and has contributed to restoring trust among individuals receiving the money in Afghanistan.
