Green Diaspora Forum

In 2025, the Uplift Institute launched the call for to the Green Diaspora Summit happening in November 2026. By fostering inclusive platforms for dialogue, mentoring and investment, the Forum aims to connect the diaspora to local development initiatives, with programs for skills transfer, impact investment and policy collaboration designed to fully realise the power of the Belizean diaspora at community and national levels. It expects to yield stronger partnerships, increased access to capital and a reinforced sense of shared purpose between Belize and its global family, where diaspora extends beyond Belizean nationals to world citizens seeking connection and collaboration. Key initiatives include launchpads for educational and vocational exchange, diaspora-to-entrepreneur investment networks, volunteer opportunities and mentorship programs and collaborative research and sustainable development projects.
