In November 2025, the Ghanian Diaspora women Network (GDWN) was officially launched in Hambur, Germany with support from the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Ghanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The initiative aims to strenghten the participation and leadership of Ghanaian women in development coopration, policy dialogue and diaspora-government engagement. The launch also marked the handover of a Strategic framework for Engaging the Ghanian Diaspora in Germany.
