Diaspora Investment Dialogue

Co-hosted by the World Bank Group and the European Union, this dialogue brought together senior officials of the Liberian Government, the World Bank Group, the Liberian diaspora from the United States, the EU and Africa, private sector, civil society and academia. The event focused on attracting diaspora investments in sectors vital to Liberia’s economic transformation, such as agriculture, infrastructure, and tourism, and provided a platform for the diaspora to share their views and expectations as current and prospective investors when considering Liberia as an investment destination.
