Diaspora for Climate Action and Food Security (D4CAFS) 2025

The Diaspora for Climate Action and Food Security project is implemented by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It aims to strengthen the contribution of Senegalese and Ghanaian diasporas to climate resilience and food security in their countries of origin. The project combines capacity-building, financial support for diaspora-led initiatives and efforts to enhance diaspora participation in national policy processes. Initial engagement activities in Italy brought together diaspora organisations and stakeholders to inform the design of upcoming interventions.
