“ConsulApp Contigo” mobile application

As part of Mexico’s efforts to provide protection and consular assistance to the Mexican diaspora in an increasingly hostile environment in the United States, the application provides the following features: (1) direct dialing to the Information and Assistance Center for Mexican People (CIAM) with geographical tracking; (2) a consultation section that provides information about their rights in case of arrest or interaction with authorities; (3) notification of indicated emergency contacts in Mexico in the case of an urgent situation; and (4) a map of consular offices closest to the user to enable efficient in-person assistance.
