Boosting sustainable heritage tourism preservation in Ikorodu, Nigeria
The EUDiF CDL Nigeria project aimed to strengthen cultural heritage management and tourism in Lagos and Ikorodu by actively integrating diaspora expertise in heritage preservation and multistakeholder collaboration. The project highlights the diaspora as a central actor in local development by leveraging their skills, networks and international experience to train local stakeholders, introduce global best practices in heritage conservation and co-develop frameworks for managing cultural assets.
