2024 China Overseas Returnees Employment Survey Report

The report summarises the number of overseas students seeking employment in China, which has grown since 2023. Most returnees graduated with a master’s degree and hold qualifications in the following fields: business administration; finance; economics; marketing; law; accounting; human resource management; international business; education; and computer science and technology. The report attributes willingness to return to China to a series of talent attraction policies, including tax breaks, housing subsidies and research funding support.
