Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation (YRRF) Safe Water Initiative

The Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation’s Safe Water Initiative aims to improve access to safe drinking water and sustainable water infrastructure in communities across Yemen. It distributes water filters and storage tanks, rehabilitates water supply systems, constructs solar-powered water wells, pumping systems and distribution networks, installs renewable-energy-powered water purification systems, and trains community members to operate and maintain the infrastructure. The initiative is implemented by the Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation (YRRF) in collaboration with local communities and partner organisations, including support from the Humanitarian Grand Challenge Canada for the Water Purification and Renewable Power (WARP) Systems project.
