2004 - 2006

The Tmamna Village Water Supply Project aimed to improve access to safe drinking water in Tmamna village, Morocco. It supported the construction of a well equipped with a solar-powered pumping station, providing reliable drinking water to residents who previously travelled 7–10 km to collect water. The project established a community managed maintenance system, with user fees contributing to a village fund that supports the long-term maintenance and rehabilitation of the water infrastructure. The project is implemented by the Association des Amis du Village de Tmamna (AVT), founded by a native of the village living abroad, with financial support from the Veolia Foundation.
