Bomaka Borehole Water Project
The CAMBRIS-AF Bomaka Borehole Project aimed to improve access to safe drinking water for Zindatal School and the Bomaka community in Cameroon. It mobilised members of the local community and the Cameroonian diaspora to raise more than £8,500 for the construction of a borehole, providing clean drinking water to the school and surrounding households. The project reduced the distance children and families travelled to collect water while improving access to safe water. The project is implemented by CAMBRIS-AF in collaboration with Zindatal School and the Bomaka community through its Water Aid Programme.
