Barbados Decent Work Country Programme

The programme brings together Government of Barbados, employers’ and workers’ organizations, and the International Labour Organization to promote Decent Work. Among other actions, the Government of Barbados will work on the data collection and monitoring of labour migration and labour market needs and diaspora engagement strategies to supportnational development aims (e.g., skills transfer programmes, investment incentives). This should lead to a comprehensive labour migration policy and action plan developed and approved by the cabinet.
