2025

In 2025, Ghana convened a Global Diaspora Summit bringing together African diaspora leaders, policymakers and scholars to discuss reparative justice and strengthen engagement with the African diaspora. The summit also explored the concept of recognising the diaspora as Ghana’s “17th Region” to promote stronger economic, cultural and development partnerships.
