Organised by the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts of the Comoros (UCCIA), the “Diaspora Days” event was held in Moroni in July and August 2025 to strengthen ties between Comorians abroad and their homeland. The event was launched with the theme “50 Years of Comorian Diaspora Engagement: Retrospective and Perspectives” and implemented conferences, panels, workshops and cultural events that celebrated the strategic role of the diaspora in national development.
