The Diaspora Investor’s Guide is an initiative of the Ministry of Communities of Cabo Verde and was developed by IOM, with funding from the IOM Development Fund within the project “Support for the Implementation of an Entrepreneurship Program for the Diaspora in Cabo Verde”. The Guide provides practical guidelines for current and prospective entrepreneurs seeking to start or expand a business. Although it is designed for both residents in Cabo Verde and those living abroad, it emphasises the critical role of diaspora investment in driving national economic growth.
