Country flag
Africa-North
2009

As part of its programmes aimed at preserving and strengthening the national identity of the younger generation, since 2009 the Department of Moroccans Living Abroad (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates) organises an annual “Summer university”. The 15th edition in 2024 brought together 300 participants between the ages of 18 and 25 from over 30 different counties, compared to 50 participants in 2022. The summer school offers the opportunity for young diasporans to meet and exchange whilst discovering Morocco’s history, culture, value system and economy, whilst inviting them to follow and engage in the country’s development priorities.
