The EUDiF Capacity Development Lab welcomes proposals from public institutions for projects to leverage diaspora engagement for development. The deadline to apply is 15 October.
Introducing CDL 2.0
After 16 successful projects in phase one, EUDiF is pleased to invite public institutions (central and local level) of EU Partner countries to a new call for proposals for capacity development support. The call, “Capacity Development Lab for Public Institutions” (CDL), is designed for institutions seeking to advance sustainable development through diaspora engagement.
Proposals may seek institutional capacity development in diaspora engagement and/or suggest a sector-specific collaboration with diaspora.
The CDL is demand-driven, with dynamic small-scale projects that can catalyse and complement an institution’s existing work; proposals should be strictly skills, tools and knowledge-oriented.
There is a vast array of potential entry points as diaspora engagement is a truly transversal process, and diaspora are active across all fields of development. For inspiration and an idea of project scale, check out the projects from EUDiF’s first phase here, or refer to the practice database of over 400 practices for ideas.
