The Umodzi Diaspora Network

The network is a mechanism initiated by the Government of Malawi (GoM) aimed at facilitating more targeted diaspora engagement and raising the country’s profile abroad. The network’s members contribute by offering advice to the government on international trade, tourism, and other issues of interest. It is not yet apparent how these exchanges take place, given there is no dedicated website or functional portal.
