Attachés for Diaspora Affairs (“Agregados para Asuntos de la Diáspora”)

A new programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs seeks to strengthen consular service abroad by assigning specialised diaspora officers to consulates in Houston and Dallas, Texas; Silver Spring, Maryland; Woodbridge, Virginia; Long Island, New York; and San Francisco, California. The initiative will strengthen work with Salvadoran organisations, tourism promotion and investment opportunities in the country.
